GENERAL PAEDIATRICS

Our general paediatricians provide expert diagnosis and management for infants, children and adolescents (0-18 years old), ranging from simple to complex medical issues as well as acute or chronic illnesses.

Paediatric Development & Behaviour

For some children, serious behaviour difficulties become a pattern that can include acting impulsively, reacting with aggression, refusing to follow direction, and defying adult authority. These behaviour difficulties interfere with children's social and academic development and can have consequences for their mental health. Our paediatricians can help assess and manage children with a range of problems.

ADOLESCENT MEDICINE

Our paediatricians specialise in the physical, psychological, social, and sexual development of adolescents and young adults ages 12 to 18 years.

They are specially trained to diagnose and treat medical and mental health problems of adolescence and puberty and provide comprehensive preventive services as well as routine care for healthy adolescents and young adults.

Baby Clinic

The baby clinic provide easy-to-follow care plans, flexible appointments, and access to experienced healthcare professionals, including paediatric nurses, a lactation consultant, a general practitioner, and a consultant paediatrician for urgent concerns.

Priority Medical Clinic!

This clinic specialises in expedited appointments for acute medical concerns. Offering follow-up care after hospital admission or Emergency Department presentation.

Rheumatology

Paediatric Rheumatology is a branch of medicine dedicated to the diagnosis and management of a wide range of autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions affecting children and young people (up to the age of 18 years).

Dr Tony Prado is an advocate of a holistic family approach to paediatrics and his vision for QCC is a centre which brings together a team of committed medical, nursing and allied health workers who have a similar passion for the well-being of children and their families and the expertise to deliver bespoke medical services.
